RULES AND REGULATIONS
Gameplay :
- At the onset, 8 teams will partake in the preliminary rounds. From these 8 teams, 4 teams will advance to the final round.
- Each team is composed of two members.
- Each team is allotted a duration of 30 seconds to deliver their response.
- If there is a tie, there will be a tie-breaker question. (The first team to answer t the question correctly wins the round)
- Total questions: 50-60
Game Duration: 1:30 hr
Conduct and Sportsmanship:
Rounds:
Preliminary Round 1
From 4 teams, 2 teams will be selected.
(4 questions for each team)
Preliminary Round 2
From 4 teams, 2 teams will be selected.
(4 questions for each team)
Final Round
From 4 teams (2 teams from each preliminary round), 3 teams will be selected as
lst, 2nd, 3rd based on their total points earned. (4 questions for each team)
Strict adherence to ethical standards is paramount; any team discovered seeking external assistance or engaging in illicit activities will be subject to immediate disqualification.
Score:
- Points are awarded based on the answers.
- For each correct answer (+3) points and for each wrong answer (-1) points are awarded. No negative marking for unanswered questions.
- If a team cannot answer their question from in the given time or pass the question, the question then moves to the other teams to answer it The first team to answer it correctly will be awarded (+2 points).
- The team with the highest score at the final round of the game is declared the winner followed by the 2nd and 3rd.
Notes:
Violation of the stipulated rules and regulations will result in the disqualification of the offending team. The event organizers retain full discretion regarding matters related to disqualification and other relevant penalties. Participants are expected to observe respectful conduct towards their fellow contestants, event organizers, and all materials provided throughout the entirety of the event. Any changes in time will be notified.
